Dr. Tamaki Saito... SAY SOMETHING!!!!
Darn it. Why did I have to choose a, of all things, a JAPANESE psychologist to work on for PW???
Ans: Because hikikomori only takes place in Japan.
Hah.
Which leads to another flaw in my PW: I can't relate it to S'pore. Although I did read that similar depression occurs in people in Singapore here. But then, once again, that most priviledged information has eluded me.
Da** it.
It's already 8.35pm. Too late to change my PI.
I've been searching and searching the web for him, someone, anyone!!! to tell me something anything about his work with hikikomori. Not just any work, no, I had to be gung ho enough to want to do a biography on his counselling session(s) with a sufferer.
Sob sob sob. I've been surfing search engines for hours now.
What to do what to do???
I still have other homework to do.
What I really want now is to interview him. Or at least get an article about his counselling work. Or at least find a copy of the book he wrote. Or at least get a sound translation of any of his papers.
Talk about language divide.
Wait, does he even do counselling???
Lord, please help me. I am going to have to hand in my PI tomorrow, sound or otherwise.
Great. I've just realized my tag board is screwy. Great. Just PERFECT.
And I am so looking forward to reaching home tomorrow at 8.30pm. And spending the whole weekend cramming for my first common test.
Great. Just great.

Hello :)
I know this is extremely random and maybe you won't even read this, but I'm desperate enough to try my luck.
So, the thing is that i'm writing my bach degree work about, surprise-surprise, hikikomori. XD And looking for Tamaki Saito works or anything about hiki, basically, google came up with your journal XD
I have a huuuuge request for you. Could you possible send or link me to something connected with Tamaki-san and/or hikikomori, that can't be found searching the Net? I know that's a lot 2 ask for, but I would appreciate any help, really.
Thank You in advance.
